Privacy at a glance
We collect the details you share when you ask for service, call us, or fill out a form. Our website also collects basic visit data through cookies. We use this information to answer you, work on your vehicle, and measure how our website and ads perform. We do not sell your personal information.
We are German Performance Options, also known as GPO Tuning. We run an independent European auto repair and performance shop at 1227 Lebanon Pike in Nashville, Tennessee, and we operate gpotuning.pro. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
It applies to our website, our phone lines, our emails, and the information you share with us at the shop.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways.
Information you give us
You may share the following when you contact us or book service.
- Your name, phone number, email address, and mailing address
- Your vehicle's make, model, year, VIN, and mileage
- Repair requests, estimates, and service history
- Payment details when you pay for work
- The messages you send through our contact form or by email
Information from our website
When you visit gpotuning.pro, our tools record technical and usage data.
- Your IP address and approximate location
- Your browser, device, and operating system
- The pages you view and the links you click
- The page, search, or ad that brought you to our site
Information from calls
We use call tracking on our website and in our advertising. When you call one of our tracking numbers, our call tracking provider, CallRail, records your phone number, the time and length of the call, and the page or ad that led you to call.
Call recording notice
We may record calls to our tracking numbers to review service quality and train our team. A message at the start of the call tells you when we record. If you prefer not to be recorded, you can end the call and send us a message through our contact page.
How we use your information
We use your information for these purposes.
- Answer your questions and schedule appointments
- Diagnose and repair your vehicle, order parts, and keep your service records
- Send estimates, appointment reminders, and service updates
- Send marketing emails, which you can stop at any time
- Measure how our website, calls, and ads perform so we can improve them
- Protect our website and our business from fraud and misuse
- Meet legal and tax requirements
Cookies and similar tools
Cookies are small files that your browser stores. We use cookies and similar tools to remember your visit, count visitors, and see which pages and ads lead to a call or a form. We use Google Analytics 4 to study website traffic, Google Ads conversion tracking to measure our ads, and CallRail to match calls to the visits that led to them.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may limit some features of our site.
Advertising
We advertise on Google. Google may use cookies to show our ads to people who visited our site, including on other websites. This practice is called remarketing. We add tracking parameters to our ad links so we can tell which ads bring visitors to our site.
You can control how Google uses your information for ads in your Google Ads Settings. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits. Google explains its own practices in its Privacy Policy.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it in the situations below.
- With service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting, analytics, call tracking, advertising, email, shop management software, and payment processing. These providers handle information for us under their own privacy terms.
- With parts suppliers, when we need your vehicle's details to order the right parts.
- When the law requires it, such as in response to a court order or a valid legal request.
- If our business is sold or merged, in which case your records move to the new owner.
Emails from us
If you receive marketing emails from us, you can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of the message. We will still send service messages about your vehicle, such as estimates and appointment notices.
How long we keep information
We keep service records for as long as we need them to support your vehicle's history, warranty questions, and tax and legal requirements. We keep contact form messages, call data, and website analytics for as long as they help us answer you and measure results. After that, we delete the data or remove what identifies you.
How we protect information
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including access limits on our systems and the security features of our providers. No system is secure in every case, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
Your choices and rights
You have these options at any time.
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails with the link in any message.
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information, except records we must keep by law or for work we performed.
- Block cookies in your browser or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Adjust the ads you see in your Google Ads Settings.
Residents of some states have added privacy rights under state law. We honor valid requests as the law requires. To make a request, use the contact details at the end of this policy. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on it.
Children's privacy
Our website is for adults who own or manage vehicles. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Our website links to other sites, such as YouTube and our social media pages. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them. Read their policies before you share information with them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices change. When we do, we post the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
